Although “Lyn” is no longer with us in body, his presence is
strong in the quality offspring he has left us. Lyn was well
known in the Percheron industry for consistently passing on
his tremendous feet, clean legs and length of neck. He has
proven himself an exceptional sire of champion hitch horses,
halter horses and breeding stock. The 2002 World Percheron
Congress was a great testament to Lyn’s impact on the
Percheron breed. Both the World Champion mare and
Reserve World Champion were Lyn granddaughters, the
World Champion gelding a Lyn son and he also sired the
World Champion Get, a group of three outstanding geldings
owned by Ames Percherons, MN. These three geldings were
also part of the Ames Percherons World Champion Six Horse
Hitch.
With several of Lyn’s daughters in our broodmare herd and
one of his sons in our stallion lineup, his legacy will continue.
We are thankful to have had the opportunity to utilize this
“grand” horse in our breeding program.
