Your eight horse hitch is just absolutly beautiful. I was in aw when I fist looked at the picture. The Stud horses on this site are amazing also. My brother has worked for a man in Troutville, PA for years that has Blegain Draft horses, and I traveled the show circut with them this past summer. So I completly understand your passion for the draft horse. They are truly a gentle giant. I hope to visit your farm someday when we’re in the area.

We are very pleased with our 3 year old stallion Vintage Lyn’s Gad “Connor” (Blackhome Grandeur Lyn X L.D.’s Prince’s Ashley). We are standing him at stud for the 2003 season to a limited number of mares. He never fails to impress. Please check out our web site or e-mail us for more information. Hi,I really enjoy looking at your website. I never owned a horse, but the first horse I rode was a TB/Percheron cross and I loved it. I’ve rode other horses after that and I didn’t like the ride as much as the TB/Percheron. Someday when I have enough money I’m going to buy one. Thanks for the beautiful website! I am a new Percheron owner and a first time horse owner. I chose a Percheron because of their docile personalities. I read that they are easy going etc… I was looking for some more information to back this up. Can you give me any insight on owning a Percheron and any tips for a first time owner of a horse? I’ve been searching the internet to learn all I can about them ….so I figure you would be the best place to start. Thanks.

We loved your photos of your horses. The wedding picture was beautiful. We were looking up some information for a school project that my daughter has to do for tomorrow. She is a real horse nut. Her grampie and her have 3 percherons. The mama is due to have another baby in late summer. Dot (the mare) had a beautiful filly last summer. The percherons are definetly our favour breed of horses. Thanks for the great pictures. We sincerely enjoyed your web page.

I have a black percheron gelding (Tom) that is my fox hunting partner. He was originally a logging horse that has taken to this crazy sport of chasing hounds through woods and fields. He is the most willing partner I have ever ridden, he will try anything, go anywhere and he likes all the attention I can muster up. Unfortunaltely he is aged and soon will retire and I will be looking to replace him.

Your horses are beautiful. Our family farm is 127 years old this year. My Grandfather used to have several (the number 16 rings a bell) Percherons and a Stallion of some demand. That was more than 50 years ago. My eldest brother has transformed our farm into a cut-your-own Christmas Tree farm. I would love to have at least a pair of Percheron mares for a sleigh as well as a wagon. Best of luck in the future. Kenny & daughter Courtney Turck

I am looking for a small percheron or percheron cross for dressage. Must be dead quiet and well broke. I’m not a big “show person”, so I don’t need a big time show horse. Just some one suitable for local shows. Mare or gelding, it doesn’t matter, as long as the personality is there. I am located in northwestern NJ, but would travel a reasonable distance to look at a promising prospect. Would have a loving family and great care.

I love Percherons. They are the best. Our growing herd has made our lives complete. You have a very nice website. It’s great to see that you can see horses online other than traveling to their farms to have a look. You guys have a great business. We hope to attend the 2002 World Percheron Congress. I am very excited about this. I have never been there, but I’ve heard a lot about it. I am not worried about losing either, just the experience will be enough for me!! I would like to wish you the best of luck in your upcoming shows in the new year. Maybe we’ll see you at a few!

Two weeks ago I purchased an eleven month old yearling. She is beautiful and my whole family is very much in love with her. She comes to our home following the death of my 27 year old horse that I had had for 25 years. I wanted a horse that I could “play with!” My intentions for Wyndham are to drive and ride her. I would appreciate any information that you might sent my way – I am very green at this. Thank you!

Hi to all the Coles. Your website is lookin’ so good! How is your foal crop this year? We are expecting 10. Has been fun showing with you! Congrats on your AA results! Were excited to have Josie and Neptune undefeated Mare and Foal and to have another All American with Neptune! They had a great year. Wish we could’ve made it to Toronto, would have been fun to see the “RED RIBBONS” come on down to the States! Hope to see you at Gordyville! When you comin’ on down to Missouri? Great site! I owned a Percheron/Welsh cross. His name was Sir. I horse logged with him, I also took him in a 100 mile race and he did great. He was also an excilent jumper and a great hunting horse. All around he was wonderful, a gentle nature, any one of any age could ride him. He died a year ago. My next horse , I would like percheron, they are a wonderful horse.I don’t think I’ll ever find one like Sir again, But I’ll never forget him 🙂

I have a percheron mare that I raised and trained to drive a carriage. In the fall of 1999 I used “Sadie” for my sons wedding. Sadie is now 9 years old and has turned into a very reliable carriage horse. we all know about the traffic problems. It is pretty scary when cars and trucks go 60-70 miles per hr past you but with the gentle giants I guess we are pretty safe I know I am with my Sadie I liked your web site thanks

My goal is to learn to drive horse and carriage. Thanks for a look at your website. I enjoyed it. Nanette

You mentioned all your foals for 2000 are sold…will any be available for 2001? Any two or three year olds for sale? I have been showing horses for 15 years (Arabians and American Saddlebreds) and came across a pair of percherons in nothern Michigan and I just love the horse. My husband and I would like to find a pair for our 80 acre farm in Michigan, but we’re undecided as to whether we should buy and older and very well broke pair to start off with–or if we should purchase youngsters. Your site is wonderful. Your horses are excellent quality and I haven’t been able to find another farm that compares. I just can’t get enough of this site it’s really kool. I’m the 12 year old that just loves horses. I was just here yesterday and i’m back already! I used to have a 2 year old black percheron Gelding he was almost 19 hands high. But he broke one of his legs then some how he did something to his other leg. My parents had to roll him over each day unless he was on his side that could get up. This gelding was one of the sons of hercules. Then one day he couldn’t get up and we think he did something to his spine so we had to put him down. Otherwise we would have a really big and black percheron Gelding but now my parents are looking for a team to hitch so we will keep on going with percherons. Please e-mail me if you have time thanks a lot sincerely, Bryanne

Hi I enjoyed your information on A.I. Collections. I’ve been shipping A.I. for about 13 years for my Morgan stallion and found your comments “right on” with my experiences. Your every last comment about Dennis Rodman was the highlight of my day, however! Thanks for the chuckle as I was waiting for my veterinarian to collect in the rain for a collection that had to be “split” for a mare here and an “OPPS” shipment back east. After coming off of Regumate and a shot of Lutalyse it only took the mare 3 days to get to 38 mm follicle. They were asking for the shipment a day later so that is why the “OPPS”! Again, thank for the chuckle. In this business, you have to keep your sense of humor! Carol

Your website is put together very well, puts ours to shame. Gonna have to work on that, the reason I found your site and am writing to you is my interest in the percheron breed. I had the priviledge to own a percheron-standardbred cross, and loved every minute I had him. I am now looking for a black gelding or colt that would turn out to be 16 to 17 hands. Would idealy be used for a little bit of hayriding on the holidays, and some trail riding. Would love to hear from you if there are any prospects like that. Good luck in the New Year.

Wonderful job on your website. Would you mind sending the name and contact information for the company and/or person who designed the site for you. I am interested in going online with a home page for our farm, Pleasent Lake Belgians. We presently have 25 head of registered belgians and believe, as you apparently do, that the Internet can be a great way for breeders to market their animals in a very personal way. Thanks for your help. Look forward to further dialog in the near future. Jeff James

The mare we raised – High Hope Heather – was Best of All Breeds in Calgary. Was surprised to see a Percheron win under the Clyde judge – especially with imported horses there. I have come to expect excellence from Pennwoods and your website is no exception. We have two Grandeur Lyn fillies and it was great to see additional picures of their sire. This may finally get my cowboy husband on line!

I realy like your site. I would like to have information on other events that you hold at your stables, so that I may attend. I am a new percheron owner and look forward to meeting other owners. Keep up the good work.
